  • Costs
In civil law, the losing party is responsible for the court’s fees, judges, their own legal fees as well as the legal costs of the other party. This is not applicable for preliminary rulings (“erste Instanz”) of employment tribunals. In this case, each party is responsible for their own legal costs. The court costs are paid by the losing party.
